He is a writer , guitarist, singer, song writer, poet, and actor. John has written jokes for Chris Tucker, Michael Colyar, J. Anthony Brown, and Paul Mooney. Special appearances and competitions include: Conscious Comedy Competition, Los Angeles CA, Canadian Mist Comedy Competition, and the Oakland Bay Area Comedy Competition. Honest John has performed all over the country at major comedy clubs and concerts. He has opened for Ricky Harris, After 7, Michael Colyar, Joe Torry, Kenny G., J. Anthony Brown, and the 1995 Def-Jam Comedy Tour. When he performs, the audience explodes with laughter, and Honest John proceeds to "Rock the House!".
