BECKY DONOHUE - "BECKY D"

Becky Donohue was born in Jackson Heights, Queens, lived there for five years, and then was moved to the burbs where her parents hoped to give her a better life. In 1997, Becky returned to the city in an attempt to mock her parents’ hopes and dreams for her by pursuing standup comedy.

She has succeeded in doing so ever since. Her writing has appeared in The Onion & Drill magazine. And her projected image has appeared on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend”, “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn”, & “Shorties’ Watchin’ Shorties”.

According to The Tribeca Trib, Becky is "old-school funny. Down-to-earth and fast talking, she can flow effortlessly from Jewish mother to flamboyant queen to Southern belle in the course of normal conversation. It's a gift, but also a well-honed schtick."
